IT’S TIME FOR PARISALLL

It’s the right moment, let’s not waste time!
Our careers have brought us here, in front of this door and, together, e have decided to step to the other side, synchronized as if we were performing a choreography. Get on the stage, turn the spotlight on, and let the music play.
This is the time to test ourselves and our skills, the occasion won’t come around a second time. The wind blows in our favour and we need to move forward. If we focus on the endgame, if we direct our efforts towards our goal, we will be able to spot now possibilities and opportunities. Although sometimes, just like in “Sliding Doors”, it’s all about serendipity!
Being on time is the element that sets our work apart, we pay attention to all the nuances, the context and the tempo.

A TIMELY COMMUNICATION

It’s a matter of timing, rush won’t do: we need to evaluate the right moment to act without compromising our project. Latins used to say carpe diem, and recognising the right circumstances to proceed is pivotal when working in marketing and communication. It is important to build the appropriate context to divulge a message, which is ever-changing depending on its time and framework.
New Media have influenced the rhythms of communicating, making time even more of the essence; the risk is to repeating concepts in a stale debate or of being excluded from the important conversations. It is essential to act swiftly and spread high-quality and efficient messages while, in the space of a second, being able to participate in different debates, shifting tone and focus accordingly. Anyone can communicate, but not everyone knows how to communicate effectively. Those who are ahead of time and anticipate trends have an edge over their competition. The relevance and timing of a message are of the utmost importance.

TIMING: a gift or an art?

Timing requires bravery: we need to be confident, able to make decisions, read the context and be quick in the response to the stimuli. Not everyone can act promptly as insecurities and doubts can be overwhelming.
Some can take risks reacting accordingly to the situation, commit to new adventures and enterprises, and see opportunities for what they are. With the right tools and support, it will be easy learning how to take risks even when we are not inclined to do so.
As the confidence in our means and possibilities grows, we learn to trust our instincts. Balancing a hectic working schedule and the clients’ deadlines requires composure and confidence. Self-awareness is the founding stone of our growth.
“I’m late! I’m late!” … but this is a story for another time.
